FSI Toronto Fire Planner is seeking a motivated recent graduate from Humber Polytechnic or Seneca Polytechnic to join our team as a Fire Protection Graduate Trainee. This paid position is designed for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in the fire protection industry and gain hands-on experience in field operations, inspections, and system support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with fire protection inspections, service calls, and site visits.
- Support the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
- Learn to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and reports.
- Help prepare field notes, service records, and inspection documentation.
- Work alongside experienced technicians and supervisors in a professional setting.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
- Assist with quotations, reporting, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate of Humber Polytechnic or Seneca Polytechnic, in a fire protection, fire services, or related program.
- Strong interest in building a career in the fire protection industry.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in the field and adapt to changing jobsite conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
