Job purpose
This candidate would be experienced painter related to the Pinting of Different kind of signs and various materials used to produce a final product. Must be able to pay attention to detail while keeping a tight deadline and able to prepare product for paint as well. Expected to prepare surfaces, sand, prime and paint. Must have at least 1 year experience in commercial Painting.
Duties and responsibilities
- Spray all commercial signage and components related to manufactured product.
- Operate hand held spray guns to spray paint.
- Assemble product, clean up, sand, prime and paint
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Critical eye for identifying defects prior to finish applications
- Mix paint colors and Prep product for paint
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Clean and maintain equipment
- A commitment to quality and safety
- Perform other duties given by Supervisor
Qualifications include:
- Ability to multitask, switch assignments if needed, assist in meeting deadlines and maintain high degree of accuracy in detailed work
- One year experience in commercial coatings
Working conditions
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside in heat/cold and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. Sitting, walking, occasional lifting from floor.
