Road Construction Field Crew
Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our road marking team as a Field Crew. In this role, you will support pavement marking operations by assisting with site preparation, equipment handling, site cleanup.
This position is ideal for hardworking team players who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Willingness to learn new skills is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools for daily operations
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Remove debris, garbage, and hazardous materials from work sites
- Assemble and dismantle barricades and temporary structures
- Assist with the transportation of machinery and equipment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations
- Support crew members with general labour tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- No formal qualifications required; high school diploma considered an asset
- Previous experience in road construction is preferred
- Willingness to participate in training programs if required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit, healthy, and capable of performing manual labour
- Positive attitude, mild-tempered, and able to work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- Valid passport required
- Hazardous materials handling certification/license may be required
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Road construction experience
- Pavement marking experience
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and site regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
