Bright Auto Parts is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Associate to join our team.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role that includes both warehouse duties and customer-facing responsibilities. You will be involved in receiving and organizing inventory, preparing orders, and also assisting customers at the parts counter, over the phone, and with product selection and sales.
We are willing to train the right person. No prior experience is required, although experience in automotive parts, warehouse work, or customer service is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and orders
- Recommend and sell automotive parts based on customer needs
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments
- Stock and maintain accurate inventory locations
- Pick and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery
- Handle parts lookups and ensure correct items are supplied
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
- Support both warehouse and front counter operations as needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation / ability to commute required
- Interest in automotive parts and vehicles is an asset
- Experience in automotive parts, sales, or warehouse work is an asset but not required
Compensation
- $20–$30 per hour depending on experience
