Determination Martial Arts is a Martial Arts facility focused on ITF Tae Kwon Do for youth (3-16), and ITF Tae Kwon Do, Fitness Kickboxing, and Wing Chun for students 16+. Our facility is inclusive and adaptive, there's a place for everyone in Martial arts.
Summary
We are looking to add another Lead instructor to our team.
Hours
Classes typically run from 1-9, Monday-Thursday, and 8:00-2:00 Saturdays. We are flexible with scheduling. We would prefer a candidate with 34-40 hour per week availability, but are open to 25-40.
Requirements
- Black Belt is required - we will provide training for the specific discipline
- Experience working with youth
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent punctuality
- Basic First Aid is an asset
- Ability to work independently and within a team of mixed ages
- Weekday daytime availability
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging martial arts classes tailored to various skill levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all classes.
- Provide feedback and progress reports to students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean and organized.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Experience:
