As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Firewood Delivery Driver to join our team. Job Description:
As a Firewood Delivery Driver at Timber Ridge Firewood, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering firewood products to our customers. This will include loading your truck and unloading your truck at destinations. Your dedication to hard work, positive attitude, and ability to work independently will contribute to our seamless delivery operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Ford F350-F550 trucks sometimes hauling long flat deck and dump truck trailers for firewood deliveries.
- Follow the plan and be a sober second look to ensure delivery routes are organized
- Make sure to keep appropriate pacing to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Load and secure firewood products onto the delivery vehicles, ensuring safe transportation.
- Deliver firewood to customers' locations, taking care to unload products with attention to detail.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and operating equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team and manager to ensure accurate and timely loading of delivery vehicles.
- Maintain delivery records, logbooks, and any necessary documentation as required.
- Communicate any delivery issues, product shortages, or customer concerns to the management team.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience driving larger trucks and trailers is required.
- A valid Class 3 license is not mandatory but is a bonus. Clean record Class 5 is required
- Experience operating Ford F350-F550 trucks with dump truck, long flat deck and dump truck trailers is an asset.
- Must have a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects during the loading and unloading process.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position with a focus on delivery operations.
- Flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate delivery demands.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
