Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior food service experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Server will be an essential part of our hospitality team, demonstrating excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is beneficial but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
