Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Shop Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily shop floor activities, manage production processes, and ensure quality standards are met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain workflows, and uphold safety and efficiency across the facility.
Duties
- Manage and update maintenance and repair records
- Coordinate procurement of parts, tools, and supplies through sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing activities
- Oversee inventory levels, track parts usage, and facilitate demand planning to ensure availability of necessary materials
- Assist with scheduling trucks and equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Handle data entry related to work orders, maintenance records, invoices, and inventory transactions with accuracy
- Support the shop team by managing supply chain logistics and ensuring timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and sourcing strategies for cost-effective procurement
- Ensure proper documentation of all shop activities in accordance with company policies
Experience
