Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, general construction , and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including siding, framing, flooring, and high end finish work. The <PERSON> will play a vital part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Candidates should have experience reading schematics and blueprints, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery as needed.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks with precision
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely to assist with large-scale construction tasks
- Conduct woodworking tasks related to framing, cabinetry, or custom fixtures
- Apply knowledge of construction safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are properly managed
- Engage in heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project needs
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete finishing, or general contracting
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of siding installation, concrete forming/restoration, and woodworking techniques is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding projects
- Prior experience working on diverse construction sites with adherence to safety standards is highly valued
