Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Part-Time Professional Pet Groomer to join our growing team. This role requires a commitment to excellent service, strong grooming expertise, and the ability to communicate clearly with pet parents.
Schedule:
Part-time – Sundays and Mondays, with occasional evening shifts. This position has the possibility of leading to a Full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to every grooming client
- Perform complete grooming services including bathing, blow drying, haircuts, nail and paw trims, sanitary trims, face trims, and ear cleaning
- Cut and style coats according to breed standards and individual client requests
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet guardians
- Communicate openly with clients regarding coat condition and realistic grooming outcomes
- Recommend appropriate at-home care and in-store products when beneficial
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming workspace
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years professional grooming experience
- Ability to handle pets calmly, confidently, and with care
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
