Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent time management skills, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through strong time management skills.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow all restaurant policies related to food safety, alcohol service, and hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal requirements and company policies.
