We are a locally owned PharmaChoice pharmacy located in the Fonthill Marketplace. We have recently expanded and require an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are a full service pharmacy that carries a wide variety of over the counter and natural organic products. Customer service is our top priority.
Job description
Duties may include:
- Greet customers at order entry, accurately entering, adjudicating and filling prescriptions and compliance packs.
- Provide assistance with cashing out and helping customers with merchandise on the sales floor referring to pharmacist when required.
- Receive and place orders for prescription and over the counter items, verifying against invoices.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace by checking and marking expired stock, cycle counting stock, dusting and cleaning when required
- Answer phones and check for messages and electronic requests from patients and doctors.
- Replenish dispensary supplies as required.
- Maintain a professional, friendly customer focused atmosphere and follow the standards of practice of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Assistant / Technician program or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- Experience with Kroll Workflow software
- Experience with compliance packaging
- Initiative to identify and complete tasks independently
- Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service recognizing individual customer needs and concerns
- Positive team orientated attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and be punctual and reliable
Salary:
Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
