Lead, Business Systems Delivery

You’ll play a key role in strengthening how we plan, deliver, and sustain business systems across the organization. By bringing practical structure and delivery discipline to enterprise platforms such as ERP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and process automation, you’ll help turn business needs into reliable, scalable solutions. Working closely with leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, and Corporate teams, you’ll enable smoother delivery, better alignment, and measurable business outcomes—without unnecessary complexity.
Role purpose
This senior delivery role helps elevate how business systems work gets done—providing lightweight PMO structure, systems analysis, and hands-on delivery support across enterprise applications and Microsoft 365 initiatives. The role partners closely with IT and business teams to improve intake, prioritization, planning, execution, and follow-through, ensuring work is well‑scoped, visible, and consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the central point of coordination for business systems initiatives, supporting work from intake through stabilization and close‑out.

Introduce practical, right-sized delivery structure—supporting prioritization, status visibility, risk awareness, and clear decision-making.

Enable continuous improvement across operational systems, corporate platforms, and Microsoft 365 / SharePoint solutions within a hub‑and‑spoke model.

Work collaboratively across IT and business partners to strengthen consistency, transparency, and delivery confidence.

Influence outcomes through coordination, facilitation, documentation, and strong follow‑through—without formal people leadership.
Delivery and Execution Responsibilities

Coordinate small‑to‑medium business systems initiatives, enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts across enterprise applications.

Support structured intake, triage, prioritization, planning, and reporting for application‑related work.

Lead or facilitate requirements sessions, process reviews, testing coordination, cutover planning, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Maintain clear, practical delivery tools such as roadmaps, workback plans, RAID logs, decision records, and action trackers.

Partner with technical analysts and business teams to ensure system changes align with business processes, user readiness, and support needs.

Support adoption and light governance of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, helping business teams collaborate effectively within simple standards.
Qualifications

Post‑secondary education in IT, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong foundation in business systems delivery, requirements analysis, testing, and change coordination.

Solid understanding of enterprise applications and end‑to‑end business workflows across operations, finance, HR, collaboration, and reporting.

Hands‑on familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and modern collaboration tools is a strong asset.

Clear communicator with strong facilitation, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, ITIL, Microsoft, SharePoint, AI/automation) are considered valuable additions.
Experience requirements

5–8 years of progressive experience in business systems delivery, systems analysis, application support, or related IT roles.

Proven experience contributing to system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and cross‑functional process improvements.

Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, TMS, CRM, HRIS, finance systems, document management, or collaboration tools.

Experience supporting requirements definition, testing, release coordination, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.

Experience in transportation, logistics, or other multi‑site operational environments is a strong advantage.
