Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder, Agriculture Equipment repair & assembly person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications and work on repairing equipment as well as assembly of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate welding equipment and perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Utilize power tools and machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and forklifts to assist in the fabrication process.
- Build and assemble metal structures or components according to design specifications.
- Conduct machining processes as needed to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.
- Rig materials and components for safe handling during fabrication and assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and forklifts is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during the fabrication process.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
