Overview
Our new store Liberty Kitchen Harbour Centre in North Vancouver is hiring full time and part time experienced Line Cooks & Prep Cooks. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are hard working and self-motivated to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity as this will be a brand new location opening early May!!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the highest quality of meals.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
