Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. The Swim Instructor will educate students on water safety, swimming skills, and proper techniques while fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and confidence in the water.
Duties
- Conduct swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.
- Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills.
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, and achievements.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate effectively.
- Patience and adaptability when working with diverse learners.
- Ability to motivate and inspire confidence in students of all ages.
- Strong observational skills to assess student performance and provide appropriate feedback.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding is preferred ; willingness to obtain certification is essential.

Pay: $46.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
