Courier / Delivery Driver (G-License) in Dryden, ON
Schedule: 30 guaranteed hours per week.
Schedule varies based on operational needs; open availability is required.
Salary: $22.18/hour + Bonus
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Courier / Delivery Driver to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of packages while providing excellent service and ensuring daily delivery schedules are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer packages according to assigned routes and daily schedules.
- Ensure packages and shipments are properly scanned when received, delivered, or returned to the depot.
- Address delivery issues and resolve problems efficiently while communicating with dispatch and customers.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections before and after shifts using required electronic reporting tools.
- Operate delivery equipment and technology, including package scanners.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and follow all safety and operational procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of relevant vocational training is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 (G-License) driver’s license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience operating delivery vehicles is required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Comfortable working in an on-the-road environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
