Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing organization.

Experience working with manufacturing tools & equipment.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience using manufacturing tools and equipment.

Inspect incoming IGUs for defects and verify specifications.

Report and quarantine defective IGUs.
-
Safely operate a forklift and overhead vacuum lift (training provided if required).

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
-
Strong attention to detail and good eyesight.
-
Ability to read and write English.

Experience using measuring tools (tape measure and digital caliper).

Basic computer and smartphone skills.
-
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Willingness to learn IGU products and inspection standards.

Reliable transportation required (no transit service available to Gloucester Estates).

Safety footwear required. Annual company-paid safety footwear after 3 months; all other tools and training provided.

Based in our factory in Gloucester Estates, Langley, the Glass Inspection (AM SHIFT) is responsible for manufacturing Cascadia’s award-winning windows and doors. Experience in window production or other manufacturing is required, but our onboarding and training program can bring interested applicants up to speed quickly.
