Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer (Part Time/Freelancer/Contractor) to support our industrial automation and manufacturing projects. This role involves developing, modifying, and commissioning PLC and HMI systems for production equipment and traceability systems.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or with our engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and modify PLC programs for industrial machinery
- Program and support HMI systems
- Integrate PLC systems with sensors, vision systems, and databases
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Support commissioning and on-site/remote startup
- Provide clear documentation and technical support
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar)
- Experience with HMI software
- Understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Available for occasional travel (if required)

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
