Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures primarily using wood, concrete, and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and construction techniques. The successful candidate will play a vital part in building residential, commercial, or restoration projects with precision and safety in mind. Prior experience with heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Construct and assemble frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques
- Install framing components and other building materials according to specifications
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- At least 5 years Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of siding installation and restoration techniques is a plus
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
