We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of materials as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Operate forklifts when necessary to facilitate loading and unloading processes.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly.
- Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
