Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our close knit team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a rapidly growing clinic and make a meaningful impact on our patients' oral health. You will assist with clinical procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the dental office, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit. We are seeking a part-time position, Wednesday's 11am-3pm, Saturday's 9am-2pm (alternating, or every Saturday a month if willing).
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Assistant License
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- 1+ years experience in a dental assistant role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and infection control protocols.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional, friendly manner.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from others.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Passionate about patient education and promoting oral health
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Open Dental) is an asset
- A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a genuine interest in patient care
