Position: Design Sales Consultant
Reports to: Founder and President
Position Summary
This Design Sales Consultant is accountable for providing both in-showroom & Outbound Sales/Business Development.
Design & Customer Service Experience and Passion is a must as we provide the highest quality Luxury wood floors to Toronto's top Interior Designers, Architects, Custom Builders & Large Multi-unit developers.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Detailed Reporting, Entry and upkeep of In house CRM system
- Perform Showroom Sales & Outbound Business Development and Account Manegment with Interior designers, architects, and Custom Builders & Developers
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking with associations to promote product
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in manufacturing associations
- Maintain great client relationship and rapport and ability to deal with unique requests while having a can do attitude at all times
What Will Make You Successful?
- Outstanding Problem Solving & Resiliency with a passion for Design and Sales Sucess.
- History of generating sales with proven track record within the Canadian Design/Interior Finishes Sales Experience
- Understanding of Interior Design & Colour theory
- Great relationship builder who establishes strong alliances with trades and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to handle high volume of activity
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, etc)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Digital Marketing Creative Apps and Rendering Applications such as Sketch-up & 3DMax would be considered an asset.
