Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Youth 19-30 Servers and Bartenders for our summer season at MIXERS Bar & Lounge. This role is vital in delivering exceptional service that enhances our guests' experience and provide consistent expectations for both current and new customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly attitude.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Mix drinks and serve beverages responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of food and beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service to foster a welcoming environment.
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- No experience necessary, this is a paid Canada Youth Summer Jobs placement that provides paid work experience and skill training for youth in our community
- Must be at least 19 years old for server/bartender roles.
Required Soft Skills
- Strong organizational, time-management, and outgoing inter-personal communication abilities
- Confidence is key. Mistakes are expected. Ability to manage both anxiety and stress as you learn and persevere in a past paced, customer service-facing environment.
