Position: Systems Architect (Azure, Kubernetes, AI/Cloud Modernization)
Location: Hybrid, 3x per week onsite (Toronto, ON)
Structure: Full-Time
Compensation: $200K–$210K Base Salary

Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Platform Engineering, or Enterprise Application Modernization
Strong experience designing and modernizing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps modernization initiatives
Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications/platforms into scalable modern environments
Strong understanding of API-first, event-driven, and distributed system design principles
Hands-on experience with Python, React, and .NET technologies
Experience with infrastructure architecture, networking fundamentals, scalability, and resiliency patterns
Experience producing formal architecture documentation and governance standards
Exposure to AI/ML integrations, OpenAI services, or enterprise AI initiatives
Strong collaboration, mentorship, and technical leadership skills
Experience working within hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
Nice-to-have:
TOGAF Certification
Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code
Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
ERP / CRM modernization experience
MLOps understanding
