Handyman / Mechanical Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and versatile Handyman who is comfortable handling both general maintenance tasks and basic mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and able to troubleshoot a wide variety of residential, commercial, or equipment-related issues.
Responsibilities
* Perform general handyman duties including repairs, installations, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, machinery, tools, and small engines.
* Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
* Troubleshoot mechanical and maintenance issues efficiently.
* Assemble, install, and repair equipment and fixtures.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used.
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, mechanic, or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Experience with welding, fabrication, electrical work, or hydraulics is an asset.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.

Compensation
$25–$40+ per hour (or salary based on experience and qualifications).
