About the Role
Go Free Agent is looking for a Channel Sales Manager to build and manage revenue through strategic partnerships and channel relationships. This role is exclusively open to current and former athletes.
As Channel Sales Manager, you will recruit, enable, and manage a network of partners who sell on our behalf. This role is perfect for the athlete who understands that winning is a team sport and that the best results come from building strong alliances. You will be the coach for our partner ecosystem, driving performance through relationships, enablement, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners including resellers, referral partners, and system integrators
- Develop and manage joint business plans with top-tier partners
- Enable partners through training, sales collateral, and co-marketing support
- Track and manage partner pipeline, deal registration, and revenue attribution
- Collaborate with direct sales teams to avoid channel conflict and maximize coverage
- Negotiate partner agreements, commission structures, and incentive programs
- Conduct regular partner business reviews and performance assessments
- Represent the company at partner events, conferences, and industry trade shows
Requirements
- STRICT REQUIREMENT: Must be a current or former athlete (collegiate, semi-pro, professional, or Olympic level)
- 3-7 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in channel, partner, or alliance management
- Proven ability to build productive, revenue-generating partner relationships
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience with partner management platforms (PartnerStack, Crossbeam, etc.) is a plus
- Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings and events (up to 30%)
- Bachelor's degree required
