- Operate various equipment such as: jackhammers, drills, chain saws, tampers, small hand tools.
- Loading, unloading materials and equipment from trucks.
- Assist with onsite set up, maintenance and dismantling, barricade locating and equipment locating, and debris removal.
- Perform other duties on construction sites, as direct by supervisor.
- Asphalting experience necessary (2+ years an asset).
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices necessary to the proper performance of strenuous lifting and labor work, and of any safety precautions which
should be taken when working with various automotive and mechanical equipment.
- Able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends is required.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Physically capable to work in warm conditions for prolonged periods.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
