Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Framer to join our construction team. This role involves constructing and installing frameworks for residential buildings, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and the use of various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including new builds
Responsibilities
- Construct wall frames, roof trusses, floor systems, and other structural components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking technique.
- Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using saws, drills, and other tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained on-site
- Perform heavy lifting of materials up to specified weights safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed during construction activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry or residential framing projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship
