We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Cinema Operations Manager to oversee our theater located within a prominent shopping center. We are looking for a leader who is eager to learn, adapt, and grow alongside our rapidly expanding company. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cinema management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and leading high-performing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily Operations: Lead and manage a dedicated theater team to ensure the seamless execution of the operations.
- Compliance & Standards: Guarantee the facility consistently reflects Company standards; ensure all operational checklists, safety protocols, and inspections are meticulously maintained and up to date in accordance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Events & Group Bookings: Oversee and execute corporate events, private screenings, group bookings, and special marketing activations within the venue to maximize non-box office revenue.
- Mall Liaison: Coordinate effectively with shopping mall management regarding facility maintenance, joint marketing promotions, and operational alignment.
- Talent Management: Recruit, interview, train, and coach venue management and frontline staff; implement robust succession planning and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Ensure fair, consistent, and equitable staff discipline in compliance with the Company’s Discipline Policy; implement proactive measures for performance improvement and behavioral management.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the theater’s budget, monitor cost analysis, optimize labor controls, drive revenue growth, and initiate localized business development projects.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive management experience in cinema management.
- Education: College Diploma or University Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, labor planning, and budgeting techniques.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with cinema POS/ticketing systems.
- Competencies: Highly organized, detail-oriented, with exceptional communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by theater operations.
