Hiring independent contractor to work as Behavioural Interventionist with various learners with autism spectrum disorder in Surrey and Richmond
Job description
We are looking for a Behaviour Interventionist to join a Surrey early intervention team
(1) Surrey team: Near cross streets of 160 Street and 89A Ave
Looking for 5 days a week. Flexible during the summer but Mon to Fri needs to be after school time once September starts
(2) Surrey team: Near cross streets of Watson Drive and 164 Street
Looking for 2 days a week between 430-630pm
(3) Surrey team: Near cross streets of Pheasant Dr and Swan Crescent
Looking for 5 days a week flexible over the summer
(4) Richmond team: Near cross streets of Steveston Hwy and Railway Ave
Looking for morning sessions on Saturdays before 12pm
Behavioural Interventionist Expectations:
- Implementing goals outlined in the intervention plan
- Tracking progress on goals through ongoing data collection
- The ideal candidate is fun, creative, energetic, and able to think on their feet
- Openness and willingness to learn
- Take direction and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Experience working with young children
- Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Speech & Language Pathology are encouraged to apply
- You're 19 years of age or older (and can work legally in Canada).
- Clear criminal record check completed within the last 12 months
- You're a team player
- Prior experience in ABA preferred, but not necessary
- Willing to complete CRC or send one completed within the past 2 years

Wage
Behaviour Interventionist: $18 - $30/hr
