Position Title: Epoxy Flooring Installer

Position Summary
An Epoxy Flooring Installer is responsible for preparing concrete surfaces and installing high-performance resinous flooring systems in commercial, industrial, institutional, and marine environments. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering durable, high-quality flooring solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, and crack repair.
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic, urethane cement, and other resinous flooring systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install decorative, industrial, and specialty flooring systems, including flake, quartz, metallic, and solid-color finishes.
- Measure, mask, and prepare work areas to ensure precise installations.
- Operate and maintain flooring equipment, including grinders, vacuums, mixers, and application tools.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Follow all occupational health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers throughout the project.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
- Complete projects within scheduled timelines while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years experience installing epoxy or resinous flooring systems.
- Experience in concrete preparation, construction, flooring, or related trades preferred.
- Ability to read and follow technical specifications and product data sheets.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel when required.
- WHMIS or other safety certifications are considered assets.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to wear respirators and other required PPE for extended periods.
