About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team and support and ensure our products meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability and performance

You will develop and implement program quality plans, and procedures using statistical quality control data, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses

Ensures that program documentation and records are compliant with contractual requirements

Interacts with Program Management and Subcontractor Management organizations for related Quality Assurance (QA) activities

Audits Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) and external providers' Quality Management System (QMS) for workmanship, deficiencies, effective corrective actions, and validation of compliance to company’s management system and compliance to ISO 9001:2015. Generates and reviews audit reports for completeness and conformity to quality management system requirements

Assists with external audits at Lockheed Martin sites

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems

Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met

Ensures that corrective action measures are effective and meet acceptable reliability standards
-
Supports Combat Management System 330 (CMS 330) Tech Refresh and engineering support and in-service support contracts
-
Supports Harbor Acceptance Trials (HATs) and Sea Acceptance Trials (SATs).
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or diploma in a related field.

Experience in QMS (e.g., AS9100 / ISO9001:2015)
-
Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Model
-
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices
-
Works well both in a team setting and independently
-
Good communicator with excellent writing and computer skills; must be effective within all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

Manufacturing / Production experience with Canadian military product, systems, specifications, and critical inspection processes
-
Experience in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to achieve program and/or company objectives.
Additional skills desired for the role
- AS9100 or 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification

Experience working at shipyards

Experience with the Department of National Defence (DND)

Experience working with JIRA software and Confluence collaborative workspace

$95,000 - $124,500
