About the Job
We are Canada’s leading first aid and CPR school with over 15 years of offering courses in Canada needing new instructors for our team. We are looking for dynamic, energetic and patient employees for our team. We are looking for individuals that are comfortable speaking in public. We have several opportunities including part time and full-time positions in Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, and Coquitlam. Hours are 9am to 5pm during weekdays and weekends.
All selected candidates will have to undergo 10 days of training and certification at our training facility prior to beginning employment.
Requirements:
- Be comfortable teaching classes with as many as 20 candidates
- Strong English language skills
- Friendly and welcoming
- Strong public speaker
- Competent time management
Assets:
- Previous First Aid (or related field) teaching experience
- Any previous teaching experience
- Bi-lingual
- Undergraduate degree (or higher)
- Advanced First Aid
We are primarily looking for candidates who are highly mobile and flexible. The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to reliably work in North Vancouver and Richmond
- Support our additional locations in Vancouver, Surrey, and Coquitlam
- Be available for private (on-site) courses, meaning traveling to different companies and client locations to deliver training at their workplace
This position requires someone comfortable working in different environments and traveling throughout the Lower Mainland as needed.
No First Aid & CPR Instructor certification necessary (although it is an asset) - we're willing to train the right candidate, and there is lots of room to grow into teaching more advanced courses
