We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide care and assistance to clients in our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities through attentive, respectful, and personalized care. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Support with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure safety during transfers or repositioning
- Help with specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Support patients with hospice or end-of-life care in accordance with care plans
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or hospice care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, working with individuals with disabilities, and medication administration is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability is essential
- Certification in caregiving or related healthcare training is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements
