To support our growth, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager with a strong mechanical background and proven leadership ability to oversee our maintenance department and ensure reliable, efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team of mechanics and technicians.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance.
- Control maintenance work orders completion according to the plan, implement procedures to foster schedule adherence and effectiveness of the team.
- Manage and optimize the e-maintenance program (CMMS) for work orders, scheduling, and reporting.
- Implement and monitor preventive and autonomous maintenance programs to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
- Drive LEAN practices, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
- Analyze and control team performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with production leadership to align maintenance priorities with plant goals.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent technical background.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial/production environment (chemical production field would be an asset).
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of LEAN principles, preventive and autonomous maintenance methods, SOPs.
- Proficiency in using CMMS or e-maintenance systems.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team.
