ARDEX Canada is immediately hiring for a COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, to cover VANCOVER and ALBERTA, with a preferred home base location of VANCOUVER, CANADA.
As COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you will play a critical role in bridging the front end of design and specification with the back end of execution and sales-ensuring ARDEX solutions are specified, supported, and delivered on site, and be a trusted resource to customers and internal teams.
Daily territory travel with some overnight.
What you will do
Architect & Specifier Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants

Deliver product presentations, CEUs, and lunch & learns to drive specification opportunities

Secure specifications across key market segments (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, commercial, retail)
-
Attend industry events and tradeshows to build brand presence and awareness
Contractor & Installer Coordination

Partner with contractors, subcontractors, and installers to ensure product acceptance and correct application

Provide technical recommendations, job start assistance, and field support as needed
-
Support quoting and bidding processes with clear and accurate documentation

Collaborate with Technical Services, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure successful execution
Project Tracking & Pipeline Management

Manage active specifications and project pipelines using A4C
-
Track projects from design through installation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
-
Identify and mitigate risks where specifications may be lost during project transitions
-
Ensure proactive follow-up to keep projects moving forward

Support tracking and market development through construction data platforms
-
Participate in regular internal project reviews to align priorities and timelines
Market Development & Sales Strategy

Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the territory

Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights

Contribute customer feedback to support product positioning and development

Partner with Global Projects Services (GPS) and architectural initiatives, as appropriate
Internal Collaboration & Reporting

Collaborate effectively with Territory Sales, Architectural, Technical, and Marketing teams
-
Provide regular updates and reports to leadership

Participate in ARDEX sales training and development programs
Experience and Skills:
What you will bring to ARDEX
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, construction, or architectural specification
-
Knowledge of flooring or tiling installation products or systems is preferred

Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
-
Technical aptitude with the ability to support products in both office and field environments

Understanding of architectural specifications and construction processes

Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project tracking tools (e.g., A4C)

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to travel regularly within the territory, with occasional overnight travel

Ability to travel occasionally to the United States

Education

College degree preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant experience
