Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam systems, refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and related utilities.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
Monitor system performance and maintain accurate operating logs.
Ensure compliance with TSSA regulations, food safety standards, and company safety policies.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations as required.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Valid TSSA 3rd Class Operating Engineer Certificate or Refrigeration B Operator Certificate required.
Experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, steam generation, HVAC, and utility equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules as required.
