Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Finisher/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including finishing, formwork, and site preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related tasks, with experience in concrete finishing and related trades. Duties
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with rebar installation and placement to reinforce concrete structures
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation and material handling
- Construct forms and molds for concrete pouring using carpentry skills and masonry techniques
- Execute restoration and renovation work as needed to maintain project standards
- Install flooring, caulking, and other finishing touches to complete projects
- Use of carpentry, masonry, and other specialized skills to support construction activities
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of work, including heavy lifting and the operation of power tools
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, rebar installation, masonry, or related construction trades
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and schematics used in construction environments
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and formwork materials
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and working in physically demanding conditions
- Experience with flooring installation, caulking, welding, restoration, or renovation projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must have active Class 5 drivers licence

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
