We are looking for an Account Manager for our branch in Vancouver, BC to drive sales growth by building strong, long-term client relationships and delivering tailored solutions. This role collaborates closely with local and national teams to support client needs, promote our company’s brand, and contribute to overall business development initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
· Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to grow the business.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring consistent communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Work closely with local and national teams to support client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
· Proactively understand customer requirements and recommend customized solutions.
· Identify, pursue, and follow up on sales opportunities, including quotes, tenders, and service proposals.
· Follow up on submitted proposals to support successful conversion.
· Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and workorders in a timely manner.
· Ensure all pricing, scope, and documentation meet customer and company standards.
· Coordinate with internal team to align solutions with customer expectations.
· Support corporate initiatives which align with overall company growth objectives, and contribute to business development strategies and sales planning initiatives.
· Share market insights and client feedback to support continuous improvement.
· Support marketing efforts through strategic initiatives and social media engagement when required.
· Represent Dogwood at industry events and client meetings.
· Deliver professional presentations to clients.
· Strengthen brand awareness and credibility within the market.
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· 3-5 years of customer service/sales experience in the trades industry
· A relationship-focused mindset with a passion for client service and business growth
· Excellent communication and client-facing skills
· Solid understanding of contract documents and estimating principles
· Strong attention to detail with a solution-focused mindset
· Exceptional organizational skills, with strong time management abilities
· Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
· Ability to establish effective working relationships within the company
· Proficient computer skills, proficiency with MS Office
