Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health conditions
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Help clients participate in recreational activities and social engagements
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, especially for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Certification or training in medication administration is an asset
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for those providing home visits
- Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
