This opportunity is specific to Parker's Electronic Controls & Motion Division (ECM), an exciting and fast-paced environment providing technologies that create and control motion to customers across a wide range of applications and industries. Position Summary
The Mechanical Designer/Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the mechanical design of products (electronic controllers, displays, sensors and other devices) as well as supporting and improving existing products and resolving customer and production issues that arise. Product assemblies typically include complex injection molded plastic parts or die-cast aluminum parts, plus other mechanical (and electronic) parts/materials.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

10+ years of mechanical design experience; electronic product housing design experience would be an asset

Solid understanding of fundamental mechanical design practices and currently available technologies

Experience with 3D CAD modeling software; PTC Creo experience would be an asset

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and well-developed listening skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
