Job Description:
Note: This position is a twelve (12) month term position.
An opportunity exists for a full-time Warehouse Clerk with the Material Services team within Supply Chain Management. This position is based out of the Acheson Warehouse located in Acheson, Alberta, approximately 15 km west of Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for particular aspects of the day-to-day operations including data entry, shipping and receiving transactions, logistics coordination, invoice reconciliation, and supporting business partners material requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute SAP transactions for PO receipts, issuing materials to projects, and transacting materials back to inventory.

Main resource and support for the SAP Goods Receipt and Material Delivery processes.

Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure material availability and timing of deliveries to sites.

Coordinate with field staff and construction contractors to ensure material requirements are met.

Support Project Managers on SAP functionality related to materials and warehouse management.

Coordinate with freight suppliers on shipments to sites on a $1M budget.

Consolidate deliveries going to multiple sites.

Process invoices for warehouse supplies and services.

Reconcile freight invoices, including matching individual charges with specific projects, allocating costs for consolidated shipments between projects, and confirming accuracy of rates that have been applied on freight invoices.

Participate in annual inventory counts.

Collaborate with other departments/groups including Procurement, Finance, Internal Audit, Projects, Field Operations, and Asset Management Standards to ensure that business goals are achieved.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma. Post-secondary courses in logistics and supply chain management an asset.

Minimum 3 years related experience.

Proven ability/experience in above noted responsibilities.

Proficient using Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Ability to develop proficiency with materials management and warehouse management software programs. Working knowledge of SAP materials management and warehouse management modules an asset.

Must be proactive and able to manage multiple competing priorities with tight deadlines.

Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive outcomes.

Familiarity with transmission business is an asset

Valid class 5 drivers license. Capable of operating small material handling equipment is an asset.

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.

Proven track record of good attendance and performance.
