Insurance Broker – Customer Service Representative - Hybrid Role (from home & office)
We have an excellent opportunity for an energetic and dynamic team player looking to gain further experience in the insurance industry. This position would require you to service an existing personal lines book of business. You would also have the opportunity to build your own book of business, however, there would be no sales targets or cold calling required.
Previous experience as a licensed insurance broker is required (additional training and licensing will be provided).
As a licensed insurance broker, your responsibilities will include:
- providing excellent customer service;
- familiarizing yourself with the types of property & casualty insurance products that we offer;
- acting as the liason between our partner insurance companies and our clients;
- gathering information from clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile and providing insurance quotes;
- researching insurance companies' policies and negotiating with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price;
- administrative tasks such as dealing with paperwork, correspondence and keeping detailed records;
- marketing and acquiring new clients;
- processing policy renewals and amending existing policies;
- advising clients whether and when they need to make a claim on their policies and assisting clients through the claims process when needed.
Good communication, analytical and detail oriented skills are required to be successful in this position, as well as a strong set of computer and organizational skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
