purpose:
As a Sales Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage a team of Sales Specialists, to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and support to your team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell our large family of products. This will also include aligning the sales organization’s objectives with business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, and sales strategy development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Setting sales targets and developing sales strategies to achieve them.
· Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
· Lead regular sales meetings focused on accountability, development, and performance growth
· Lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Specialists
· Maintain and manage regional key accounts (Ad plans, listings and business reviews)
· Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies and initiatives.
· Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities.
· Resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Keeping up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
· Creating and executing business plans that lead to profitable growth
· Managing and creating an operational budget
· Understanding P&L statements and identifying opportunities for improvement
· Promote and maintain a strong company culture and positive team environment
· Support new business acquisition and sales growth initiatives
· Ensure pricing and profitability structure is correct with constant review
· Creating ongoing sales objectives for your sales team
· Reviewing sales numbers, price edits, product execution and team engagement
· Provide field and territory support coverage when required
· Provide additional operational and leadership support as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or related field experience
Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Leader (CSL)
Leadership and team management
Knowledge of CPG industry preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in MS Office & Excel
Preferred Skills
Sales techniques
Customer relationship management.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Training in product knowledge
