We are seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC/R Technician to lead and manage our service department. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who wants to take on a leadership position while remaining involved in technical planning and project support.
The successful candidate will oversee service operations, support technicians in the field, and assist with project planning, job costing, and billing to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department
- Schedule and coordinate service technicians and service calls
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians
- Assist with job planning, estimating, and costing for service and small projects
- Review completed work orders and prepare billing documentation
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and address service concerns
- Support inventory planning and material ordering for service work
- Help improve service processes and department performance
Qualifications
- Valid HVAC licenses/certificates (G2, 313D)
- 5+ years of HVAC/R service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience coordinating or supervising technicians is an asset
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners and heat pumps
- Ability to estimate service work and understand job costing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
