Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team. The Parts Technician will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Identify, locate, and order parts for customers and service technicians
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in identifying correct parts
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Assist in demand planning to anticipate parts needs
- Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for inventory management
- Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Mechanical knowledge to accurately identify and source parts
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Capability to fabricate or modify parts when necessary
