Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Roofing Helper to assist with residential and commercial roofing projects. This role involves supporting the roofing team in various tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in every project. The ideal candidate is physically capable, eager to learn, and has a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or handyman work is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the roofing industry and develop valuable skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist roofing crew with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs
- Handle and organize hand tools and construction materials on-site
- Support with heavy lifting of shingles, plywood, and other roofing materials
- Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans as needed
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure waterproofing standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and securing tools
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction preferred
- Must have his own means of transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of blueprint reading is advantageous but not mandatory
- Prior handyman experience or familiarity with caulking is a plus
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
