About the Role:
The Supervisor of Operations is entrusted with the management of the production department during a designated shift. This pivotal role involves overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, meeting production goals, and honoring client deadlines.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to devise and monitor internal and external procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Cultivate an empowering culture that fosters associate ownership, accountability, and engagement.
- Conduct quality control checks to uphold standards of quality and timeliness across all production tasks.
- Provide comprehensive training to new and transitioning employees on equipment operation and quality procedures.
- Supervise the production schedule and monitor progress, ensuring alignment with predefined objectives.
- Verify the accuracy of turnover communication and facilitate personnel appraisal processes.
- Contribute to the development of production goals and lead the team in achieving them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
- Monitor workflow, assign duties as needed to meet Service Level Agreements, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Support corporate leadership and initiatives, effectively communicating production reports and statistics.
Address employee issues related to discipline, performance management, and salary recommendations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success.
- Three to five years of experience in remittance lockbox operations.
- Ability to develop action plans for process improvements resulting in efficiencies and cost savings.
- Thorough understanding of job flow and downstream process impacts on production.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, including staff development, innovation, strategic planning, and risk management.
- Strong motivational skills and the ability to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing changing priorities.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Resourcefulness in developing alternative methods to achieve desired outputs when necessary.
- Strong personnel leadership skills, including motivation, coaching, and positive direction.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- May require occasional travel, up to 10%.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Extended periods of standing and/or sitting.
- Utilization of electronic equipment, including computers and telephones, for extended durations.
