Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled, experienced and dependable AZ Truck Driver to haul reefer trailers within the Leamington and Kingsville region on a daily basis. Daily shifts with dedicated start and finish times. The ideal candidate will have reefer experience, a strong track record of safe commercial AZ driving, adherence to regulations, and a commitment to timely and efficient delivery while maintaining the integrity of the refrigerated cargo.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive AZ-class trucks and reefer trailers to transport produce freight within the Leamington and Kingsville areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure compliance with loading and unloading procedures.
- Adhere to all transportation laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding schedules and any issues.
- Complete deliveries within specified time frames while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously when interacting with clients or authorities.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an AZ Truck Driver, preferably with reefer experience.
- Familiarity with MTO regulations and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work a consistent daily schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
